Updated twice a week, Breaking News English is an excellent whole language resource for ESL teachers. The site features extensive, well-organized lesson plans based on current events around the world. Each graded lesson has a downloadable listening component, allowing teachers to play the clip in the classroom or assign the listening task for homework. The lessons also include an article, a warm up, and a pre-reading section, followed by listening, reading, writing, and extension activities. Teachers can save themselves hours of prep work by supplementing their coursework with Breaking News English lessons.

Perfect site for beginner to intermediate adult students, and an introduction for more advanced students, i don’t find it appropriate for younger students. Thanks for making our work easier
