A lesson that will definitely get your students talking! First, the difference between “economic” and “economical” is clarified and practised. Then your students meet new vocabulary (such as “quantitative easing”). Finally, fluency is encouraged through stimulating discussion questions such as: “How is the credit crunch affecting people in your country? Should governments be allowed to rescue banks by bailing them out?”
