A topic close to everyone’s heart! Students practise their fluency in Activity 1 with personalized questions about being rich before exploring the different meanings of the word “rich” in a variety of contexts. A gap-fill exercise introduces students to a selection of synonyms and idiomatic expressions, while the final activity generates further fluency practice through questions such as “What are the disadvantages of being rich?” and “Do you think rich people generally spend their money wisely?”
